Welcome to the Chicano Park Museum and Cultural Center, where a history of struggle is preserved to educate and empower individuals to be agents of change in their own communities. While the CPMCC had its grand opening in the fall of 2022, it had been in concept for over 30 years by members of the community. Similar to the fight for the land that became Chicano Park, the Chicano Park Museum and Cultural Center came to fruition through community struggle for the rights to the building where it now resides. Through struggle and self-determination, community members relentlessly fought and succeeded in bringing a museum about Chican@ culture into the Logan Heights community.
